What I like most about hats is that you can use your favorite things to decorate with. I like coffee, and dollhouse accessories. Voila!

Hurry down the chimney
Nu börjar det banne mig närma sig jul! Det firas med nya julörhängen, jullåtar och att matcha min röda vinterhatt med läppstift i samma nyans. Hatten på bilderna är en svart filthatt i kubbmodell med pärldekoration. Den är såld och kommer göra någon lycklig om fyra dagar! Hattar har en mycket fin egenskap att göra folk i allmänhet mycket lyckliga.
Translation:

Musikhjälpen
Idag var min klass med i Musikhjälpen från 14-17. Det var relativt grymt. Vi sydde hattar som nu säljs till förmån för flickors rätt att gå i skolan. Tillskärarakademin donerade även 10 000 till Musikhjälpen som vi lämnade över. Jag gjorde en fantastisk julhatt som nu finns att köpa i Musikhjälpens butik. Den röda glittriga kulan kommer ifrån julgranen som står bredvid mig (se bilderna från länken), men var inte oroliga, jag ersatte den med ett blått hjärta. Så köparen av denna hatt får inte bara den bästa julhatt som någonsin tillverkats, den får även en bit av Musikhjälpen med sig. Förutom att man bidrar till en bra sak. Today was the day my class participated in “Musikhjälpen”. That was very cool. It’s a yearly charity event where people request songs and donate money and it’s broadcasted in both radio and TV during six days and nights. We made hats to collect money to this year’s cause; girls’ right to go to school. I made an awesome Christmas hat that can now be bought in “Musikhjälpen’s” shop. The red glitter ball is from the Christmas tree that is standing next to me (see the pictures from the link), but don’t worry, I replaced it with a blue heart. So the buyer will not only have the greatest Christmas hat ever made, he/she will also have a part of “Musikhjälpen.” Apart from helping donating money to a good cause. A short version of the three hours we were there, as well as pictures, can be seen here:

Elsa Schiaparelli was the woman who introduced shocking pink, made lobster dresses and telephone bags with Salvador Dali, scarves with newspaper pattern with articles about herself on, and sad things like "Women dress alike all over the world: they dress to be annoying to other women.” Schiaparelli also made the shoe hat, which is one of her most famous creations, and I've made a copy of this amazing hat, for a project a while ago.
Jeeves
In the matter of head-joy Jeeves is not in tune with modern progressive thought, his attitude being best described, perhaps, as hidebound, and right from the start I had been asking myself what his reaction would be to the blue Alpine hat with the pink feather in it which i had purchased in his absence. Now I knew. I could se at a glance that he wanted no peice of it.
I, on the other hand, was all for this Alpine lid. I was prepared to concede that it would have been more suitable for rural wear, but against this had to be set the fact that it unquestionably lent a diablerie to my appearence, and mine is an appearance that needs all the diablerie it can get. In my voice, therefore, as I replyed, there was a touch of steel.
‘No, sir.‘
‘Well, I do,‘ I replied rather cleverly, and went out with it tilted just that merest shade over the left eye which makes all the difference.

Papercuts
Hattarna är gjorda i ett material som heter rullbock, det lukar insjö när det är vått och är mycket klistrigt. Hattarna ska senare sprayas med billack. Jag misstänker skarpt att expediten trodde jag var lätt efterbliven när jag köpte både signalrött och signalgult...
I am currently working on a project involving four hats, and my inspiration is paper. That also means tower building and improvising. I am very good at building towers. Sure, Cinderella’s mice might have come in handy, but there is a risk that they would have been crushed under the hat blocks. I will spray the hats with car paint later, and there is a strong possibility that the clerk thought I was just a little retarded when I bought both red and yellow paint.
